The CPP division will see substantial capacities for folding, sewing, hard-case and perfect binding to be added shortly. An MBO folder is already in place.
Rishabh Singhvi executive director at IPP, said: "The expansion was upshot in view of demand surge for our products from domestic and export customers. The markets for paperboard packaging, books, publications and stationery are clocking rapid double-digit growth. We aim to swing the advantage of buoyant market conditions and scale up quality and competence sharply."
IPP will see an addition of manroland presses, a six-colour press and a five-colour press with online coater and a 1+1 perfector press. Also being added is a 530 mm cut-off with 1+1 printing heat-set web offset for book printing.
IPP will also be refurbishing its Solna C-96 kits and corresponding with increase in print capacities, the packaging finishing capacity will see induction of new Yoco JY-106E die-cutter with online stripper foiler and a Paktek GM-1050 folder-gluer.
"IPP is clearly on the growth path, having achieved over 30% CAGR during the past three years. IPP credits early acquisition of technology and its team as its main sources of competitive advantage" added Singhvi.
