The software uses advanced image analysis techniques to control colour, tone and detail of virtually any input file or colour space. New features in version 3.1 include the ability to automatically process PDF files, taking XML instructions from page make-up applications and integration with Agfa's colour management system ColorTune Pro.

"We have an invaluable tool that will provide colour image reproduction that is second to none," said Agfa professional support manager Joe Besso.

The version came as interest in RGB workflows and automatic enhancement of images became a hot topic in the pre-press community.
