Chatelard, who was most recently general manager of the Asia Pacific region, said he is focused on increasing the company's UK market share in the high-volume colour market.
He takes over the position from Dermot O’Loughlin, who has retired following a 36-year history with the company, and will report to InfoPrint chief executive Tony Romero.
Chatelard said: "We are focusing our attention on winning significant market share in countries including UK, France, Germany and Italy by dominating the high-volume colour market. Russia also presents a significant growth opportunity for our business."
He added that he welcomed the chance to work alongside "familiar and new customers as they embrace InfoPrint’s innovative solutions, particularly Automated Document Factory (ADF) and TransPromo".
