Garnett Dickinson is letting youngsters loose in its new 20m Rotherham site after signing up to a local "investors in education" scheme. The Sheffield firm teamed up with the council and local companies to "raise the aspirations of young people by involving them in local businesses," said group commercial director Nick Alexander.

Danwood Group has made Richard Pole sales executive for its graphic and production systems. He joins from Litho Supplies and reports to division director Gerry Mulvaney.

ACC HSH Group, the Polish maker of PuzzleFlow workflow, has chosen Paul Foster to be its rep in the UK. He joins from Ripware, will be based in London and will handle sales and technical support for UK and Ireland customers. 

LPC Printing managing director Nick Lee raised around 5,000 for Breast Cancer Campaign by running the London Marathon in three hours, 41 minutes. The 42-year-old, who lost his sister Linda Musslewhite to breast cancer before Christmas, said: "I wanted to do something tangible in memory of Linda and for a friend who is undergoing treatment." Fillink Technologies, the Belgian ink-jet maker, has set up a UK sales office to push its wide-format inks. Sales and marketing director Robin East and operations director Jon Price will head the office in Wokingham, Berkshire. They will offer next-day delivery and colour profiling as well as eco-solvent, solvent and UV inks.
