The west London-based company unveiled a tie-up with the Czech laminator manufacturer at Ipex, but the deal initially only covered the smaller-format Aspira and Delta laminators.
According to IFS, the B1-format Sagitta builds on the strengths of the two smaller machines, but its larger size and speed make it ideal for longer runs, as well as on-demand lamination.
The machine can handle stocks of up to 600gsm with a maximum sheet size of 760x1,020mm.
Joint IFS managing director Tony Hards said: "Laminating is a tremendous growth area in which we have already seen significant interest in the Aspira and Delta small, jobbing commercial machines.
"Their main benefits of high speed, quick changeovers and easy-to-use controls are also features on the B1 machine. Komfi has shown its manufacturing capabilities excel in this sector."

Post-press equipment reseller Intelligent Finishing Systems (IFS) has boosted its product range with a high-end laminator from Komfi, the 50m-per-minute Sagitta.
