Image Data Group (IDG) has marked its first month as a user of Komoris Project D digital press.
The company signed up for the press at the Northprint exhibition earlier this year (PrintWeek, 27 April).
Komori Project D press is the first sheetfed B1 machine to be equipped with direct imaging technology, and the East Yorkshire-based print group is the first company to have installed the press in Europe.
Chairman of IDG Roger Birkin saw the press on its first airing at Drupa last year, and at the time of purchase said Project D would strengthen the companys position in the short-run, multi-colour market.
Project D has been installed at IDGs one-stop pre-press offset and digital printing plant at Willerby.
