Hibbert said the acquisition would add to the strategic direction of Polestar.
The print management business will continue to focus on volume direct mail and catalogue work, according to North.
Httprint and Polestar are both based in Milton Keynes and share a major shareholder in Investcorp.
Last month httprint said it would move its corporate headquarters from San Francisco to Milton Keynes after deciding to focus on the European market. It also sold its US customers and associated licences to Global DocuGraphix and its Custom Publishing operations to Meredith Publishing (PrintWeek, 25 September).
