The new-look Capture features enhanced financial modelling software including a commercial job estimator and a label job estimator, which is designed to help customers decide which jobs to run on their HP Indigo digital presses and which to run conventionally.
It also features a new direct mail toolkit, a guide to variable-data printing, and specific tools for production staff including a designers’ guide and a media locator to help users select the best substrate for a job.
HP is running 15 one-day courses that will be run by outside trainers and will have between 15-20 places. Course topics include web-to-print, digital selling skills and building a strategic marketing plan.
Julia Cole, UK and Ireland marketing manager, Indigo Digital Press and IHPS, HP Graphics Solutions Business, said: "Our new look and feel HP Capture portal is user-friendly and has been designed for easy navigation with each of the key elements of the programme broken down via business type, for example, general commercial printing, labels and packing converting, large-format printing or by application type. The new website has more practical features and interactive material, such as easy to access whitepapers, campaign analysis tools and customer testimonial videos."
