Howitt completes swine flu UK leaflet print run

Direct marketing specialist Howitt is understood to be the printer behind the government's H1N1 swine flu information leaflets, which are currently being delivered to every household in the UK.

The massive print job, which runs into the tens of millions, was the first time that a public health run on such a scale has been commissioned, since the outbreak of the AIDS virus in the 1980s.

Containing information about the 'swine flu' virus and contact details for the emergency services, the leaflet runs to 12 pages and is understood to have been printed over last weekend.

Howitt declined to comment.
