Aberdeen-based the Donside Paper has appointed Howard Smith Paper as its exclusive merchant for the Consort brand in the UK.
The move, which twill take effect immediately, will see Howard Smith provide 24-hour ex-stock UK delivery of Consort through its national sales force and 15 sales offices. Donside previously handled its own sales.
Donside business manager Keith Reynolds said: "We have worked very closely and been very happy with Howard Smith Paper over the past few years, and they have been very pro-active in coming forward with ideas."
Brands such as Consort Card for the greetings card market, Aberdeen Silk for the art publishing sector, and uncoated brand Consort Royal Complement will all now be available exclusively in the UK through Howard Smith Paper.
