The print, publishing and paper industries were well represented on the New Year's Honours list.
MPG chairman and last year's Lord Mayor of London, Clive Martin, received a knighthood while Jeffery Bartlett, former director general of the Paper Federation, received an OBE.
Brian Roberts, managing director of Rainbow Print, in Merthyr-Tydfil, South Wales was awarded an MBE for service to the community.
Roberts' one-stop-shop print firm also arranges events for charity.
Eastern Counties Newspapers vice chairman Geoffrey Copeman received a CBE for services to the newspaper industry, while Hello! publishing director Sally Cartwright won an OBE for services to the PPA.
