Hill & Hay opts for Stahlfolder to replace Star

Glasgow-based commercial printer Hill & Hay has invested in its first Heidelberg kit with a Stahlfolder KH66.

The folder has replaced a Shoei Star at the printer, which employs a staff of more than 20.

Joint managing director David Hill said that the Stahlfolder had been chosen because "it offered the best value for money". "Reliability and robustness were prerequisites when we looked at equipment, principally machines familiar to us," he said.

The B2 printer currently runs combination and buckle Bonelli and Shoei machines. "We have chosen a combination folder again this time for the versatility it gives us," said Hill.

Hill & Hay was established more than 50 years ago and provides general commercial print and design work to the Scottish market.
