The Innovation Week event will take place from 13-15 October, with each day beginning with a live broadcast from Heidelberg’s revamped Print Media Center at its Wiesloch-Walldorf site.
Day one's focus will feature packaging printing, day two is digitisation, while day three covers diversification.
“Get ahead of change. Get ahead of the industry. Get ahead of your competition,” the manufacturer stated.
Ludwig Allgoewer, global head of sales and marketing, commented: “At Innovation Week 2021, we are once again demonstrating our credentials as a technology leader – always a step ahead of developments – with the aim of securing future business success for our customers.”
The event will include videos on-demand of new products and technology options, such as Heidelberg Plus and its Performance Adviser Technology.
Customers from commercial printing, packaging and label printing will share their experiences, including users of the new Speedmaster CX 104 launched earlier this year.
Other customer case studies feature the robotic Stahlfolder P-Stacker, Prinect workflow and Versafire digital presses.
Allgoewer said the customer profiles would provide “exciting and authentic insights” into how print shops have improved productivity and efficiency by digitising processes.
Heidelberg has merged the former PMC Packaging with the PMC Commercial to create one giant new Print Media Center in Hall 11.
This involves 6,500sqm of exhibition space, alongside a further 3,000sqm of warehouse logistics, pre-press, office space and meeting and seminar rooms.
Attendees can also chat with Heidelberg experts, and the video library can be streamed after the event.
