Tomorrow's event (14 July), which will take place at Heidelberg’s national showroom in Tamworth from 9am to 4pm, will feature demonstrations and presentations using equipment such as its Anicolor press.
According to Matt Rockley, product manager for B2 and B3 products at Heidelberg UK, most digital presses are running with less than 5% variable data.
"Litho can often generate more profit for the printer because it eliminates click charges, is cost competitive from 250 sheets (and often lower) and is more flexible in the stocks it handles," he added.
Rockley said visitors were welcome to bring stopwatches to measure the litho production speeds.
"Anilox inking means quick, predictable colour and high productivity from low grammages up to lightweight board. It’s easy to use and a very profitable machine, as user after user will testify," Rockley added.
