Around 30 production staff have moved to the Hackman Print plant in Tonypandy from its South Western Printers site in Caerphilly, which will be retained for storage and facilities management.
Hackman took South Western over two years ago.
"We have taken everyone from Caerphilly, including the cleaner. That takes us to the 90 employee mark, and by the end of the year we hope to reach 100," said joint managing director David Hackman.
The company has also changed its name to HSW Print to reflect the more integrated nature of the business.
Hackman said the firm, which has just introduced a 24-hour shift pattern, was considering entering the case-binding arena.
"Well certainly be looking at Ipex for the right kind of case-binding machine. Its not something we offer at the moment and its wrapped in mystery, but its something we would be successful at," said Hackman.
The company, which hopes to achieve a 5m turnover this year, has eight-, four- and two-colour Heidelberg Speedmasters, a six-station Stahl stitching line and Muller Martini perfect binding.
