Although there is as yet no pricing or availability, the company hopes to launch the Eye-One iO before the end of the year.
"The new Eye-One iO scanning table validates our continuing efforts to break through the cost and complexity barriers associated with colour management," said GretagMacbeth market manager for pre-press creative and photo Thomas Kunz. "It is designed to be easy to use and affordable."
The automatic scanning table has a new design with two pivot points to allow the machine to make automatic X-Y readings. Existing Eye-One users will be able to buy the table as an upgrade. It will also be available as a bundle for new users.
