The internal investigation into print buying practices at Great Universal Stores' giant home shopping division is still ongoing.
Publications director Eric Gilbertson has not returned to his office. He was said to be "spending two weeks at home" prior to Christmas (PrintWeek, 8 December).
He is still employed by GUS, but is "not at work at the moment", according to a spokeswoman.
Argos publications and new media manager Steve Haithwaite has take over Gilbertson's duties.
