Gourmet Society promotion to target businesses with 100,000 cards from PCS each month

Plastic Cards Services (PCS) is producing a run of 100,000 Gourmet Society Dining Cards each month for the Gourmet Society.

The cards are part of a campaign to promote the Gourmet Society to businesses, with a three-month trial available to staff.

Gourmet Society managing director Simon Leonard said: "To roll this programme out successfully we needed a trusted partner that could handle a high volume of cards each month. We had a limited budget and thought that it would be expensive to shop locally, but the quality and value of PCS's offering far outweighed any others."

The cards offer members discounts and special offers on dining out with more than 4,500 participating restaurants that include Loch Fyne and Café Rouge.

PCS managing director Rob Nicholls said the deal could lead to other projects with the Society in the future and described it as "a testament to our expertise in the production of reward cards, which is an area that continues to increase in popularity".

The 68-staff, £5m-turnover business is in the process of expanding its premises at Tytherington Business Park in Macclesfield, adding 465sqm and increasing its capacity from 50m cards a year to 80m.
