Version 5.1 supports 64-bit computing and Microsoft's Windows 7 operating system, as well as Epson's recently introduced Stylus Pro WT 7900 proofing engine with white ink.
With 5.1, which is a chargeable upgrade, GMG has introduced new versions of its ProofStandards - the predefined data sets defining target colour space, ICC or MX4 profile used, proofing stock, printer and printer calibration settings. If any setting doesn't match, jobs are held pending a manual check.
Other features include automatic nesting to save media, new gamut mapping algorithms in order to improve quality and a simpler set-up for manual jobs.
GMG's ColorProof compatability increased
GMG has updated its ColorProof package to add support for the latest printers and operating systems.
