McKie had worked at the company (formerly St Ives Direct Bradford) for around two-and-a-half years. He left the business last week.
PrintWeek understands that McKie is set to take up a senior position at York Mailing.
York has recently taken on a swathe of senior staff members, including former St Ives Direct business development director Chris Cowley.
The move means that the original St Ives senior management team at Bradford have all left the company. Customer services director Faith Graham and finance director Guy Barnett have also moved on to pastures new.
There are no details as yet about any replacement for McKie.
Kevin Dunstall, chief executive at Cogent B2B, which acquired the business from St Ives in September 2013 in an £8m deal, was unavailable for comment.
The sale deal involved an initial £3m payment followed by the remaining £5m in monthly installments over a two-year period.
St Ives remains one of Global MP’s largest customers.
In November last year the Bradford operation acquired another Dunstall business, Prospect Mailing Services, out of administration in a £400,000 deal.
The £35m turnover Global MP business employs around 180 staff.
Neither McKie nor York Mailing chief executive Chris Ingram were available for comment at the time of writing.
