Its digital printing arm, Digitec, will be known as Garnett Dickinson Digital.
The 38,100sqm facility (pictured) is running two months ahead of schedule and, when completed, its printing, publishing and digital arms will all be operated under the same roof and brand.
At a pre-launch event in central London, Garnett unveiled its new corporate identity and a customer extranet that will allow clients to access information on the status of their jobs around the clock.
The firm also revealed that it would be making a substantial investment in robotic handling equipment to take materials off the bindery at a faster pace.
"We are absolutely focused on reducing makereadies," said group commercial director Nick Alexander.
"Automation is key. The new factory will be completely geared up for the short-run market."
