Executive chairman John Dickinson said the company had invested heavily to replace existing equipment and extend the plants capabilities.
Dickinson said the company was also looking to complete a major extension to its estimating system with the acquisition of a Technique MIS system, which would provide it with an all-singing all-dancing system.
In the plants finishing line, two Primas are now working inline, and Dickinson said the firm had doubled its throughput for saddlestitching.
A Tobias Ink control system has also been introduced, while Garnett Dickinson has been completely CTP from 1 October. It uses an Agfa Apogee workflow system and two Sherpa proofers, with an Agfa Galileo and a large-format Xcalibur producing plates.
Garnett Dickinson Holdings employs 279 staff at sites in Rotherham, Birmingham and London and has sales of 20m.
