The company has said it continues to receive orders based on conversations and meetings at Drupa, which took place more than three months ago.
However, technical sales manager Cliff Lansley said that the company would have to start bringing in new orders and hoped that this week's open house event at its headquarters in Perivale, West London would drive sales.
At the show, GAE displayed the latest equipment in its arsenal, including the Meteor DP60 digital printer from MGI, which comes with self-contained air conditioning.
Also on show at the event was MGI's UV Varnisher and the Lasermax LX561 roll converter, which can cut roll-fed paper into book blocks. The Horizon AFC-564AKT auto folder also got its debut at the London event.
Lansley added: "We have a few new pieces of kit here this week, some of it on show in the UK for the first time. I think there could be quite a lot interest in these bits of kit as we move on after Drupa."
GAE hopes open house event can beat the post-Drupa blues
Finishing equipment distributor Graphic Arts Equipment (GAE) has said it hopes its open house event will sustain the level of orders it has enjoyed following Drupa.
