GAE adds Screen Micra to portfolio

Graphic Arts Equipment (GAE) has expanded into metal CTP by becoming a dealer for Screens PlateRite Micra violet diode platesetters.

The Greenford-based firm will showcase Screen's latest PlateRite Micra B3 and B2 machines at its newly refurbished London showroom at an open house on 27 September.

Features of PlateRite Micra include a 60mw laser allowing the use of photopolymer metal plates. GAE joins Apex Digital Graphics in selling the Micra.

GAE will also be  showing the four-colour  Shinohara B3 LithoPod and the Perfecta TVC 76 guillotine. Live demonstrations will be held featuring perfect binding, saddle stitching and folding.

The new look showroom will have doubled in size to 500m2 and GAE is also refurbishing the office suites.

Last month, GAE added the Mitsubishi SDP Eco 1630II polyester platesetter to its product range (PrintWeek, 24 August).
