Pathway Submit allows jobs to be created directly or imported from an MIS before being submitted into the workflow, processed via JDF, preflighted and plated without any user intervention.
Errors in the pre-flighted file can be automatically fixed using the PitStop Server module, or clients can check corrections on a report sent automatically by Fuji Open Workflow.
Fuji Remote Approval has also been upgraded to allow job profiles to be set so that it automatically places pages for customer approval.
"To be honest our demonstrations are a bit boring because we pretend to be the client, put the job in at one end, wait a bit and then the plate comes out at the other end," joked Andy Walker, Fuji workflow manager.
