Fuji launches processless ready violet platesetter

Fujifilm has revealed a new entry-level product in its B2 violet platesetter range, the Luxel V-6e.

The modular machine can handle plates from 279x381mm up to 765x686mm, and has been designed to be able to image Fuji's new Brillia Pro-V chemistry-free plate.

Fuji has said that the launch of the Luxel V-6e is a "response to an expanding market segment that requires a high quality, affordable solution that is upgradeable".

It will feature a top vertical load in manual and semi-automatic options, allowing it to run either online or offline, and will produce 10, 15 or 20 plates per hour depending on the chosen upgrades.

The Luxel V-6e also features 2,400dpi and 1,200dpi standard resolutions, with other resolutions available as options.
