A double-page book proof tool now allows printing to a double-page duplex laser printer.
Print suppliers can therefore produce a dummy for an internal or client simulation of the final product for approval, said the firm.
A new "pickaproof" system allows operators to turn off inks to proof cutter guides or varnishes separately from the main spot and process colours when outputting to ink-jet proofers.
"With these new enhancements, Fuji Open Workflow encompasses more tools to improve the efficiency of the production and the pre-press process," said a spokeswoman.
Other features include "intelligent scatter proofing", which enables pre-press operators to maximise paper usage when proofing a number of images or pages.
A new print-control feature has been added to the monitor proof application to offer more control when printing from the Mac.
