The pink double-sided A4 sheet will be sent out to corporate subscribers in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dublin, Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds.
The initial print run across the six cities will be 12,000 copies and it will become available from 4pm daily.
FT is staggering the launch with the first editions available in Edinburgh and Glasgow on 2 September.
Dublin and Birmingham will follow on September 16 with Manchester and Leeds two weeks later.
The FT plans to use FTpm as a marketing tool to increase interest in the full edition of the paper, where UK sales have been dwindling.
