Leicestershire-based Frip merged with nearby sister firm, Laminating and Varnishing Company, in November last year.
Managing director Leslie Gibson said: "With everything under one roof, workflow is improved and quality control is better - you can spot when something is going wrong a lot quicker. When you are doing that, cost base is also improved."
In addition, the £6m turnover company has launched a scuff-resistant alternative to matt oriented polypropylene (OPP) lamination, which Gibson claimed is 100 times tougher than traditional matt.
According to Gibson, it is a product already widely used in Europe and something the company would be aiming at high-end users.
He said: "It gives an extended shelf-life and the quality product market is perfect for it.
"We also believe the prestige car brochure market is suitable for it and we have already taken an order from this sector."
Frip has 50 staff and as well as Leicestershire, has sites in Croydon, Manchester and Glasglow.
