Having operated for years as a range of sister companies working across print, digital and video media, the company has now positioned itself as a "one-stop creative and production agency".
Simon Berg, chief executive of the north London-based business, said that the move was in response to its clients' trend towards cross-media content publishing.
"Our clients now publish information in print, digital and video formats and they need agencies to help them do this," he said.
"Bringing the agencies together under one name makes it easier to convey the extent of our services to new and existing clients."
Berg claimed that while some "larger clients" worked with the company across print, digital and video, other clients were unaware of all of the group's businesses and therefore its full range of services.
FMG's software platforms, VIP 4 and Ceros, are unaffected by the rebrand, which Berg said was "simply about bringing together the creative and production agencies in the group".
As a result of the restructure, staff have been positioned by discipline, with print creatives sitting alongside digital creatives and a dedicated pre-press team, while the account management and sales teams have been brought together to work across the whole group.
FMG will continue to operate out of its site on Pentonville Road, which has undergone an extensive refurbishment, including the construction of three purpose-built photographic studios and four video editing suites.
