The event will feature speakers from around the world, including Drupa director Sabine Geldermann and speakers from major manufacturers like Xerox, Canon, Xeikon, and Roland DG.
The morning sessions, starting at 10am American Eastern time – 3pm UK time – feature short lectures on subjects ranging from sustainability to customer experience, with the afternoon sessions – which wrap up at ten to midnight UK time – typically split into sessions of half an hour or more.
The conference is intended to complement International Print Day, a global celebration of the industry that invites printers to share their love of the industry on social media.
Last year, 16 million people saw the #IPD22 hashtag on social media.
Deborah Corn, the conference’s organiser, founder of International Print Day, and Print Media Centr head, said: “International Print Day comes once a year, but the impact of a successful customer, student, and community engagement can have a positive and lasting effect.
“The #IPD23 conference provides educational and printspirational support for Print Across America open house events, and truly illustrates how ‘print connects’ all of us – even through an online conference.”
Printing files for the conference programme are available for download now, and is also available as an interactive publication through hosting platform BlueToad.
Corn added: “Printers having open house events for Print Across America or wanting to share cool content with their customers and brand it to their business are encouraged to download the program files and show off their capabilities while creating more print fans in the process.
“The interactive version will include a digital bridge to more content, videos, podcasts and information about our partners.
“It will also contain a message board where everyone can share a print-positive message to the industry, a link to their website, and get global exposure in the process supporting our #PrintConnects theme even further.”
The conference will take place on 25 October, with registration free at internationalprintday.org.
