Dirk Aulbert has been appointed president of its European ink business. He replaces industry veteran Helmut Schmidt, who will remain for a handover period.
The change follows last year's merger of Flint Ink and Xsys Systems. Aulbert, currently general manager of Flint's European sheetfed division, was previously managing director of Xsys Germany.
Former Flint-Schmidt employees Mike Bailey and Derek Greason have been appointed commercial directors of the firm's European Publication Division.
Current Flint Group Pigments & Resins president Frank Scherhag takes Aulbert's old post, where he will also be responsible for coloured chips and resins.
Flint chief executive Dave Frescoln praised Schmidt a fourth-generation member of the Schmidt family, which founded an inks company in Germany in 1878 for his "steadfast" leadership.
