The ink giant said that while the price of oil has fallen in recent weeks, the cost of other raw materials such as pigments, intermediates, resin and other additives, has continued to rise.
Wolfgang Blumschein, vice president and general manager of Flint Group publication Europe, said: "This is due to the unprecedented strengthening of both the euro and US-dollar against the British pound."
The company said its raw materials are sourced outside the UK and this has impacted heavily on its margins.
Blumschein said: "In order to continue to provide our customers with high-quality products and service we have no alternative but to pass these increases on.
"We appreciate our customers' loyalty and understanding of this situation."
Flint Group is headquartered in Luxembourg and develops conventional and UV printing inks.
It operates more than 170 facilities worldwide and employs some 8,300 people.
