Fitch has more than 20 years’ experience in digital printing, including roles at Turning Point Technologies, Kodak and EFI. He joined Agfa four years ago as regional sales manager for the south.
He has taken over as head of inkjet from Bobby Grauf, who is leaving Agfa after nearly 21 years to take up a new European-wide role at another manufacturer.
Fitch said he was honoured and excited to take up the fresh challenge.
“Agfa’s global growth strategy for digital printing is extremely ambitious, and the UK and Ireland are at the forefront of this drive.
“Recent investment in an accessible showroom facility in Rugby, Warwickshire, has been a positive step forward in taking Agfa’s inkjet solution closer to our customers and my aim is to build upon our success to date and further expand our local presence.”
