The machine, which was installed at the Leeds-based company earlier this week, has been taken on to support an Avinci CX3200 printer from Agfa that was installed last year and increased the company’s fleet of high-capacity dye-sub printers to three.
The Jeti Tauro H3300 will enable FaberExposize UK to increase its in-house capabilities to cater to the growing demand for ‘just in time’ production. The machine is the fastest wide-format printer bought by the company to date, with the ability to output up to 453sqm/hr.
FaberExposize UK managing director Iain Clasper-Cotte said: “This is the 10th wide-format printer we have invested in over the past six years and is undoubtedly the fastest.
“We already operated two Anapurna UV printers but as we have grown our rigid and vinyl business through Covid when the demand for fabric collapsed, we needed some extra firepower to keep up with our expansion and the demand for environmentally friendly substrates.”
Prior to the pandemic the business had invested in the construction of a new mezzanine floor for its specialist exhibition finishing department, as well as a raft of additional finishing equipment.
FaberExposize UK and Northern Flags have been part of European printed display fabrics network FaberExposize for 35 years. The combined group employs over 700 people with production hubs in Thailand, Poland, France, and The Netherlands.
The group serves customers ranging from multinational brands to print management companies, advertising agencies, sports companies, and event management businesses.
