The Derbyshire-based printer has invested in the new machine, which debuted at the show, following eight months of analysing the market for wide-format equipment.
According to Darren Ware, director at F1 Graphics, the six-staff business has a large number of retail clients that require banner and short-run board printing.
"We would previously have to print and mount certain jobs or turn them away altogether. However, we can now bring this in-house, which will help us save time and money," he added.
The Anapurna M1600 offers high-quality four-colour plus white printing in one print run at up to speed of 23sqm per hour on rigid boards and roll-to-roll substrates.
It supports one of the largest print areas in its class at 1.6x3m allowing for all the standard sheet sizes.
F1 Graphics was established five years ago and serves a range of clients including Co-Op, Lidl and the AA. Its new Agfa Anapurna M1600 complements a roll-to-roll printing setup that features Uniform Grenadier and Brigadier machines.
