Environment agency names roster of printers

The Environment Agency has named the three printers that will service its Midlands region in a framework agreement worth 250,000.

Minworth-based Folium Group, Crumlin-based Lexon Group and Mansfield-based Linney Group all met the organisation’s environmental and quality standards. The companies work to ISO 14001 and EMAS requirements.

The organisation admitted that price was weighted as the most important factor in the tender, followed by quality, environmental concerns and health and safety.

Both two- and four-colour digital and litho printing will be undertaken, with print runs ranging from 100 and 50,000.

And Environment Agency spokesperson said: "Our communication needs are broad and our audience diverse and widening, therefore, our print solutions are widening too. Projects vary in size from an A5 flyer to an A4 report, high-specification marketing publications and magazines."
