EFI Vutek refreshes 3.2m roll-to-roll UV offer with QS3250r

EFI Vutek has updated its 3.2m-wide roll-to-roll UV printer offering with the QS3250r, which supersedes the QS3200r.

New features are claimed to extend its application range and improve media handling.

An automated double-sided print registration system is said to improve registration of double-sided prints, while a new temperature control unit on the platen would make it possible to print onto lower cost and heat-sensitive substrates.

"The QS3250r has expanded the number of capable applications for UV roll-to-roll printing at a very cost-effective price," said EFI Vutek general manager Dick Wissenbach.

The company was unable to provide pricing information at the time of writing.

Applications for the 172sqm/hr 1,080dpi machine include PoP, interior and exterior posters, signage, fleet graphics and digital wallpapaers.
