New to version 5.3, Fiery Image Enhance Visual Editor (IEVE) now enables users to individually edit images, rather than the native design file, with controls for changing brightness, contrast, highlights, shadows, colour balance, sharpness and adding red-eye correction.
Users can also save settings as presets for further images.
Add-on module Fiery SeeQuence Impose now automatically detects trim and bleed boxes defined in the source document, while the Color Profiler Suite tools have been made available in the main Command WorkStation interface so that users don't have to switch out to diagnose problems or check other aspects.
EFI Fiery marketing vice president John Henze said: "Fiery Command WorkStation is the recognised industry standard for production printing job management technology, serving as the window into the entire printing workflow.
"Known for its intuitive interface, Command WorkStation gives businesses a productivity boost for production printing. It enables seasoned pros to more quickly produce even higher quality output, while making it easy for less experienced users to produce professional-looking documents in just a few clicks."
The new software is available to Fiery users for free from www.efi.com/cws5.
