The distributor, which has sold Edale machines in China for a number of years, will now focus on the RFID market, a growing area in the region which Edale is keen to exploit.
G-Sight has already sold and installed a Lambda converting line to a company in China, which cannot be named due to the signing of a non-disclosure agreement. The company will use the machine to produce travel and transport tickets.
Edale’s RFID converting lines are modular-based and can be adapted to meet customer requirements.
Its Lambda line uses HF or UHF technology and has a maximum insertion speed of 100m/min.
Edale managing director James Boughton said: "We are delighted to have collaborated with G-Sight to develop a strategy which we hope will see our range of RFID converting lines sell throughout China.
"Their experience and knowledge of security-led applications and machinery sales makes G-Sight them an ideal fit."
