US-based ECRM will demonstrate its Mako Newsmatic HS plus at the show, alongside the new Aztec 65 News Processor from Heights.
The Newsmatic is targeted at small to medium-sized newspaper publishers.
ECRM vice president Eastern Hemisphere Business Derek Sizer said: "Visitors will be able to see first hand how the plate handling performance alone means that we have more than doubled its capacity. We can now produce up to 100 panorama plates per hour at 1,016dpi.
"The use of a significantly enhanced optical system with the latest violet laser technology means that the Newsmatic HS plus produces optimum quality results and deals directly with quality issues associated with larger circulations and increased advertising."
ECRM has kitted the Newsmatic out with a 120mw violet laser, which it said would allow for a smooth transition to violet chemistry-free plate technology.
