Durst UK has taken on Amira Bouchiba as its new UKI software and application specialist in a strategic move.

Posting on LinkedIn, the business said that as it continued to experience significant growth and expand its software portfolio, it required additional expert support and that Bouchiba was selected “for her unparalleled expertise and proven track record of success”.

Bouchiba, who started with the business earlier this month, most recently worked at CMYUK for over nine years, as academy manager for the last five of those. She has also in the past worked as an application engineer at EFI and had started her professional career as a trained graphic designer.

Peter Bray, managing director of Durst UK, said: "Amira’s unique combination of industry knowledge and hands-on experience makes her the ideal addition to our team.

“Her dedication to customer success and ability to navigate the challenges of our fast-paced industry will undoubtedly enhance the level of support we provide.”

Durst Group recently bolstered its P5 family of printers with the addition of a “true flatbed” printer with single and dual roll capability, the P5 X.
