Kadocourt general manager Julian Rolfe said: "We were looking to significantly reduce our set-up times for binding work and, having seen the Quickbinder in operation, I was very impressed with both the speed of makeready and the finished product."
The firm hopes the Quickbinder, which replaces a Sulby perfect binder, will offer set-up savings of around 40%. The fully motorised control binder will be configured with Wohlenberg's Navigator graphical control system and inline three-knife trimmer.
The Quickbinder line will be installed by UK agent MAN Roland GB at the Aylesbury-based division of the global print giant later this month.
