The document management and services provider, which has installed a Xerox Docutech 180 Highlight Colour press and a Xerox Colour 1000 Press at its Bellshill, Strathclyde site, is now able to deliver more than 5m time-critical items of mail per month and is targeting 30% growth in its PrimePost direct mail business over the course of the next year.

DOL, which has seven other Xerox presses at its site in Bellshill and another at its Warrington site, specialises in delivering secure, high-volume mail required by the debt sector, including invoices and council tax bills.

DOL managing director Neil McCallum said: "Every Wednesday, a large number of batch orders would come in and invariably there would be a bottleneck.

"Now we can automate the management of this busy period, accurately prioritise work and deliver jobs faster – all without the risk of human error."
