Simon Prosser and Geoff Durkin bought the 500,000-
turnover print and design firm from founder David Holland, who is retiring, for an undisclosed sum.
"We're grateful to David Holland for the opportunity... and to the commercial team at Thompson Smith & Puxon solicitors who made it happen," said Prosser.
"We're looking to grow the business now," said Durkin. "We have a firm base of clients to develop from," added Prosser.
Prior to the duo buying the Colchester-based firm Durkin and Prosser were sales manager and production manager respectively.
The pair are now looking forward to 12 months of consolidation, before deciding whether to invest in more kit for the litho firm, which was set up by Holland in 1984.
