The magazine is an A4, full-colour, 32pp publication with a print run of 57,000. It is distributed to households across Darlington.
A spokesperson for Darlington Borough Council said: Acorn will liaise with both the council's communications team and the designer.
A flexible approach and a dedicated after-sales service will be expected from the printer, as well as a top-quality finished product.
Acorn houses pre-press digital workflow, print, print finishing and mailing facilities. It is ISO 18001 and ISO 14001 accredited.

Darlington Borough Council has appointed Wakefield-based Acorn Web Offset to produce Town Crier, its monthly residents' magazine.
