Dalim, searching for early adopters for its latest generation of software, will be exhibiting on two 40sqm stands in Hall 16, A40 and Hall 7A, D01 at Messe Düsseldorf from 28 May to 7 June.
Dalim Twist, a file processing automation program, and workflow automator and dashboard Dalim ES have both been “rebuilt” under the principles of ‘MACH’: Micro-service based, API-first, Cloud-native, and Headless.
Effectively, explained Carol Werlé, Dalim chief executive, this means every part of both platforms has been packaged into modules that can be scaled up or down to meet demand, allowing users to use elements of the software in isolation if desired; likewise, the platforms have had their user interfaces (UI) completely redesigned and both platforms have a simplified ‘low-code’ editor to help users modify the UI alone.
He said that both products had been completely redeveloped to be “API-first”, meaning that they are designed to be integrated as easily as possible with other workflow tools; the software is also ‘headless’, meaning it does not require a screen for operators.
Werlé added: “But where this platform truly shines is when you're faced with the challenge of a constantly changing system or a legacy one that is no longer being maintained.
“Rather than having to look for many tools to plug together and match existing functionality, we have everything you need in one comprehensive package. And it's a platform you can rely on.”
While Dalim is keeping the exact public launch date of the new software under wraps, it will be having conversations with Drupa attendees about bringing on board early adopters to help fine-tune the final stages of development.
