Cubiquity has been awarded the EcoVadis Platinum Medal, placing the company in the top 1% of businesses globally assessed for sustainability and corporate social responsibility (CSR).

The Whyteleafe, Surrey-based print management and media procurement agency said the accolade reflected its “unwavering commitment to sustainability, transparency, and ethical business practices, and highlights its dedication to both clients and the planet”.

Cubiquity’s overall EcoVadis score increased from 71 to 84 out of 100, elevating the company from a Gold to Platinum rating despite the adoption of stricter evaluation criteria.

“This Platinum certification underscores our dedication to implementing meaningful initiatives that address societal and environmental challenges,” said Shane Inger, CEO of Cubiquity.

The company’s latest EcoVadis assessment placed it in the top 1% for Environment, in the top 2% for Sustainable Procurement, and in the top 3% for Ethics and Labour & Human Rights.

The recognition comes as part of Cubiquity’s broader sustainability strategy, driven by its RISE Initiative, which focuses on four pillars: Respect, Innovate, Sustain, and Empower.

“Achieving Platinum status demonstrates our industry leadership and highlights the hard work and commitment of the entire Cubiquity team,” said Kinjal Basu, sustainability manager at Cubiquity.

“We are proud to pioneer sustainable innovation and set new benchmarks for environmental responsibility.”

Dave Shepherd, managing director of Cubiquity, added: “We remain guided by our RISE framework, which ensures continuous improvement in client processes and investments in technologies that contribute to practical climate solutions.”

Cubiquity, which was acquired by Claverley Group in 2018, said it was committed to continuous improvement and innovation, working with clients and partners to raise the bar for sustainability in the print and media procurement industry.
