Craig Neat, managing director of the trade finishing firm, said: "The new press will give us increased capacity, as well as the capability to do textured foiling, fluted foiling, and blind embossing on B1 work."
The 7,500sph SBL-1050SEF is capable of 6,000 stamps per hour and has a cutting pressure of 300 tonnes. The machine was supplied by SBL UK, in Wakefield.
Leicestershire-based Crusader, which celebrated its 15th anniversary in January this year, specialises in foil blocking, blind embossing and die cutting.
Neat said: "We're looking to increase our turnover up to three quarters of a million with the new SBL."
