Norwich-based Crowes replaced an aging machine with the Horizon, which has been configured with a PST40 stacker.
Managing director Simon Tilbrook said: In certain instances, we are four times more productive. We were sending out a lot of jobs before, but now we can bring most of them in-house.
As a result, work can be ready quicker and we can be more responsive. We are also able to print 2- or 3-up taking out the gutter which makes us more competitive.
The machine has a speed of 40,000sph, with a 200-job on-board memory and a 17-fold pattern pre-selection.
